Cursillo & Ultreya
Join us at our next Ultreya!
The Ultreya Committee invites all Cursillistas, and those interested in learning more about the Cursillo experience to join us on Friday, September 29

We hope to see you there.  De Colores!
Cursillo is a “Movement of the Catholic Church that, with its own method, makes it possible to live what is fundamental for being a Christian..” The method helps to create communities of Christians who are interested in bringing the Good News to their environments as they grow and become authentic Christians themselves.
The Cursillo Weekend is a short course in Christianity.  Cursillo is a weekend experience that has helped many people progress along the Faith journey of knowing about Jesus in the head to encountering Jesus and knowing Him in our heart.  For some people it's a complete turnabout in their lives; for others, it's a great next step in the Faith they've already been living.  Each person's experience is unique, but I guarantee this - You will be blessed on a Cursillo weekend.

Ultreya is a follow-up to Cursillo. "Ultreya" is a Spanish word, derived from the original Latin, meaning Onward! It was said by pilgrims to greet and to encourage one another along the way. In Ultreya we come together to continue our Faith journey through song, prayer, a fourth-day witness, and round-table sharing.
If you've lived Cursillo or are interested in learning more about it please join us.  The gatherings will take place on the last Friday of each month from
7:00 - 8:30pm in Cotter Hall, Saint Michael Parish.
