Deepening your baptismal life in Christ with the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Reach out to Sammie Moore ([email protected]) for information & registration for your teen.
The implementation of Restored Order means that baptized Catholic youth are now confirmed in the 3rd Grade. But hey - don't worry! Programs like Journey of Faith and RCIA are just for you!
To learn more and get started, please reach out to our Middle School Youth Minister, Sammie Moore ([email protected]) or our Religious Education Coordinator, Susan Breton ([email protected]).
We encourage teens and their families to be consistently practicing their Catholic faith by regularly attending Mass and participating in Sacramental Prep sessions focused on Confirmation.
So that our youth may prepare and celebrate this beautiful sacrament in fellowship with others in our community, sessions are hosted at St. Michael in Exeter.
To register, please contact Sammie Simard at [email protected] or Chris Carmody at [email protected]

Confirmation Mass
Spring 2023 (date TBD)
The Sacrament of Eucharist is a Sacrament of Initiation. The other two Sacraments of Initiation are Baptism and Confirmation.
In the Rite of Confirmation, the Bishop (or a Priest who represents the Bishop) extends his hands over you and asks the Holy Spirit to come to you with seven special graces, or gifts: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord (aka reverence).
Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the “sacraments of Christian initiation,” whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For “by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence, they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.” – CCC 1285
