Becoming Catholic

Becoming Catholic
Life has many storms — distressful relationships, uncertain jobs,
poor health; situations where we feel our powerlessness.

If you are new to the faith, searching for meaning and purpose in your life, or
have been away from the Church for any reason, we welcome you with open arms. If you or someone you know is unbaptized or baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition, is searching for strength and understanding to weather life's storms, or would like to hear more about Jesus and placing your trust in God, we invite you
to join us at an Inquiry Session.

Inquiry Sessions do not assume a commitment to join the Catholic Church. They are opportunities to ask questions about God, Jesus, the Catholic Church, the Mass, Sacraments, prayer, etc. Inquiry Sessions are for those who wish to inquire, explore and search for ways to grow in relationship with God and consider the possibility of joining the Catholic Church.

Please contact Deacon Eric at 772-2494x211 for more information.

The purpose of the RCIA is to help focus one's faith on Jesus Christ and how we come to know Him in prayer, the liturgy and sacraments of the Church, and in the Word.

The RCIA will be a year-round program culminating at the Easter Vigil, when the appropriate sacraments of initiation are given.
